Jamaica

My name is David Ramgeet aka Ramo. I was born in Kingston, KPH, many moons ago, long enough to remember Independence Day. I attended St Aloysius Primary, St Georges College for 3 years finishing high school at Jamaica College. Did 2 years National Youth Service with the Social Development Commission then went on to the College of Art, Science and Technology where I did the Land Surveying Technician course. Did a year with Ministry of Agriculture as a Land Lease surveyor. Left that and became an independent contractor working with various construction companies. Became a big time political activist till I left Ja. in ’88 for the USA and haven’t been back home since. Worked a few years for an engineering firm in Boston as a Piping Designer for chemical refineries. Been on my own since, doing freelance work as an artist/musician/computer genius/etc. Right now I sojourn in South Carolina with my wife who is active duty Air Force and our son, Joshua. I am a serious bible student and Christian, untainted by any institutionalized religion, with highly unorthodox spiritual views. I am very blessed by the Lord and I thank Him every day for bringing me through the hard times (and there were plenty).
