About Jamaicans.com

Jamaicans.com is a nine-year old website (1995), boasting just over 15,500 members at year-end 2004 and a mailing list of over 35,000 users. Jamaicans.com has grown to achieve the current status of being voted THE SURFER'S CHOICE AWARD for 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2004 as the Number 1 Web Site on Jamaica. (Source: www.top5jamaica.com). We are an online community providing a diverse information product to native Jamaicans, expatriates, tourists and friends of Jamaica.

The home of the largest bulletin boards on Jamaica is how we have managed to set the pace ahead of other Jamaica related websites. With forums in diverse categories ranging from current affairs, adventure travel through spirituality to the latest genres in music and traditional recipes, we have created the ultimate windows to everything that is Jamaican. Visitors and members to the site engage in dialectic conversations, interacting in such a way as to consistently build ongoing social and business relationships while being treated to a most dazzling feast of information and entertainment at no charge. The site provides a Community for Jamaicans residing all around the world where they exchange stories, recipes, and discuss their travel plans.

The cast and team players in the community remain mature, sober, tech savvy, and always in touch with the daily pulse of national events. In addition to our bulletin board, there is a homepage, reflecting the lifestyle, and beauty of our people and our homeland folk stories, poetry, flashbacks in history, commentary of current culture, alternative vacation spots, and immigration essentials. We also offer Jamaicans.com email service for free. We publish several e-newsletters, inclusive of the discount travel bulletin and the weekly Jamaican news update. We also offer a wide range of useful information for people across the globe, such as specialized channels, free classified ad space, overseas Jamaican city guides, and immigration FAQ's.

Monthly articles, poems, health issues, legal issues, music releases and memories are shared by a membership in excess of 15K, and lively regular discussions with special guests such as Miss Lou, Oliver Samuels and so many more are exciting additions to our programming. A world of friendships and dialogue is encouraged to continue this shared love for Jamaica, and to actively participate in many ways towards a better Jamaica.
We want to offer the High Visibility that only a major Web Site can provide and, at the same time, do it at an affordable price. We have devised a method to promote your business and help our members and other potential customers at the same time. By working together, we can build a partnership that will meet your goals.
