Job Training Program Offers Hope in Jamaica's Fight Against Crime
Jamaica's new Special Youth Employment and Training Project is intended to train and employ 10,000 unskilled young people over the next four years. The intent is to equip them for employment. Labor and Social Security Minister Pearnel Charles figures the program will help to solve Jamaica's crime problem, which has been spiraling out of control. And I hope with all my heart that he is right.
