Good day everyone!

  I hope you are having a fun day, and if you are not much blessings to you anyway.  My topic is based on the current ' epidemic' the swine flu, where there supposedly hundreds of people getting sick from this horrid illness.  But haven't you thought that fear and worry about getting the so called swine flu can make you sick too?

     We as human beings were not built to hold fear and worry.  The human body is a fantastic piece of machinery, but any loose screw can break it apart. That loose screw is fear. Fear is not healthy,  you will lose sleep and have migraines because of fear.

     But how the Lord is good! For those who believe in God through Jesus Christ, I just want to encourage you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power,  love and a sound mind.  As his children, He wants us to be happy and fear should not be a part of that mix.

   However, I must distinguish between fear and reverence. You know people say all the time that they fear God. Yes, God is no one to mess with and He is not a game.  But those who fear God, and goes to church religiously every Sunday, and be a do gooder, thinking if a step is missed, God will lick them.  This is a type of fear that will do no good, because this fear will not only bring doubt, insecurity, worry, but it also blocks the eyes of your heart. 

Of course, you should build yourself daily and pray to him, only because you love Him because He is your father. 

 I am happy to say that I am not fearful of anything, thanks to the joy and peace I have in Christ Jesus.  

And the funny thing is, this had registered in my mind two weeks ago.  No matter how long you have been with God, I can assure it is always growing and multiplying in love.
