Hello people,

   It has been a while since I have stepped onto this page. Quite a couple of things have came my way, but I am still on top thanks to God. I just wanted to know, for those who have a relationship with God, do you cry and tell jokes to Him, or do you act pristine and act like nothing is ever wrong in order to please Him?

    Well, I have been that way with God mainly because I did not know how to talk to Him as a friend. Yes, I see Him as my father and where I would get counsel, but not to the point I will express all of my feelings to Him. I guess because I was not honest with my own feelings.  Ever since I cried out to Him, it is like our relationship get even stronger.

I realize at times, when you speak with other people, you may express your feelings towards them because they can't read your mind. But just because God can read your mind, doesn't mean He doesn't want to hear it coming from you. And I also learned that expressing your feelings does not mean lack of faith; it means you trust in Him so much that you'll share your heart with Him and He will deliver. I learned to trust God not just in various areas of my life, but my relationship with Him.  God is more than any emotion, perhaps that is why at times he may feel distant, but he is way beyond our senses. As long as you read His word, he will not be a mystery, because He isn't.  Those 66 books, God has poured himself to us, He shared his heart and gave the ultimate sacrifice His son, Jesus Christ.

It doesn't hurt to do the same, love on Him not just with your feeling, but your lifestyle.
