Drip drop Rain

Published Dec 30, 2005

Drip drop, drops of rain
Drops running down my window pane
Drip drop now birds are singing
High in the sky gazing and winging

Clouds gone now it's a simple due
All over the land, rain residue
It even left a strange smell
So strange my nose can't tell

The sun now starts to shine
It brightens the clouds water line
Trees seem to have a brighter green
Picture perfect, the perfect scene

The stream and boulders rush
The rushing makes a loud gush
Chirp! crickets now chirping
Frogs sound like they burping!

Sometimes you see a rainbow
Majestic array of colours glow
It can be such a great pleasure
When you sit & visualize nature
