Completeness

As I gaze

Desire

wish to behold

Harmony

Even in the midst of

My own disharmony

You sang;

And I understood,

Soothing;

The scars of woes.

 

 

So I pretend

You were here

Caressing doubt

Speaking hope

Speaking joy

In my own world

You sang

Lullaby of healing

Of forgiveness

 

I hear you play

So sweetly so sweetly

To thy spirit

And there you quiet

The heart of loss

The heart of confusion

The heart that mourns.
