Ole Drunkard

Old Drunkard

By

Ole drunkard and im sweetheart riding down the road,

Too "coked" up to give a rat's tail about the child crossing over,

"Bambadambam!"

Lord Jesus!

The Range Rover im a drive tun ova,

De chile im lik look blacka dan a watch strap at Bulova,

'Cause im mash ar into de ground,

She an de tar mek one compound,

Im com out wid im mad eeks self,

A yell an scream,

Im a call fa help,

Im look wild inna im eye dem,

Im hair stan pon end,

If im no de pon sumtimg,

Den a me den,

Im tell de sargent sey,

Im an im sweetheart was on dere way home,

When de chile was wondering in de street like a gnome,

Im beep ar. Im yell at ar,

She nevva ear him,

Old Drunkard was tink a rum cyant done,

Yet de sargent jus flag im on,

A strange event but very true,

An elaborate cover-up while a kid lay black and blue,

You may ask me how I know so much about dis issue,

I was the truck driver who saw evryting,

You knoe sey,

Dem did pay me off too.
