Published Apr 8, 2012Dry Land Tourists
sit dung inna de sun
soaking up de rays,
but really scorching for
days,
Suddenly he/she tun red
like wan lobsta,
no sun screen was used,
so, dem start sing de
sun stroke blues,
Who knew tannin pon Port Royal Beach
had its dues?
Ultra violet rays has ravaged
dere skin in so many ways,
No wan can tell dere real hues,
No thought was ever given to melanoma,
or sun poisoning,
They nixed the sunscreen with SPF 30
to appear money wise and thrifty,
A little protection would have solved everything,
Lately, no wan is grinnin widout hat an
scarf, because if dem mess wid de sun
dem skin a go scarch an fall off.......
