"Nuff Respeck!"

For so long we have remained in the shadows

of other caribbean islands, lauded only for our crimes

and sensemelia harvested on our lands,

People forgot that we were once noted for much more

than illegal contraband,

Our scholars used to take center stage,

ruling the halls of prestige beacuse we cultivated the best and brightest

that fullfilled the worlds' corporations needs,

Our Beauty Queens lit up competitions all over the globe,

and our music once heralded peace, and was never associated

with violence and rebellion causing pseudo-Jamaicans to change

like chameleons,

The millenium has brought us a lot of changes but none more outstanding

than being redeemed for our sportmanship and winning ways,

"Nuff Respeck!"

We have outgrown our dormant phase,

Our talents and pride have come alive again,

reviving our culture of legends and excellence in motion,

"Nuff Respeck!"

Because we have attained great heights through hard work and

devotion, without bragging, we have managed to shift the world's view of our Third

World rating, and for a long time in history.......,

Jamaicans are respected, regardless of player hating and drug infamy.........
