One woman cries wolf
and suddenly it multiplies into
three,
 
Out of the woodwork comes a bevy
of beauties, proclaiming their civic duties,
Where were their concerns all along?
before anything could go wrong......?
 
They sat and simmered on the "stew"
until it festered, wreaking...P-hew....!
If they had come forth
from the begining, there wouldn't be tragic endings,
but they wait for opportunistic times,
to sound off the bagpipes and chimes.
