Appleton Rum Factory

Bamboo Avenue
Bamboo Avenue, a serene and beautiful two and a half mile stretch of bamboo trees which arch to form a natural tunnel, is one of the most photographed places in Jamaica. Planted in the early 1900's, this peaceful shady lane serves as a favorite attraction due to the relaxing hiking and the smiling peanut and coconut vendors. Sip on a cool coconut water while snapping a few pictures of this famous path.

Boat Tours

Bob Marley's Birthplace
Pay homage to the King of Reggae, musical legend Bob Marley, by visiting his birthplace and taking a tour led by a Rastafarian, who will tell you everything you could ever hope to know about this Reggae idol, his music, and his philosophy. Coffee Factory Tour
Nothing beats the smell (and taste!) of fresh roasted coffee, which you can savor as you learn all about the famous beans at the Jamaica Standard Products Company Factory, where you can take a tour of the roasting, grinding, and vacuum packing processes of their three delicious blends: Blue Mountain, Baronhall Estate and High Mountain Coffee. Complimentary fresh brewed coffee is served during the tour and all brands are available for guests to purchase.

Golfing in Mandeville
The Manchester Golf Club, situated in the impressive Don Figuerero Mountains, boasts the title of oldest golf club in the Western Hemisphere. Established in the1860’s, the Manchester course offers a challenging nine hole, 18 tee course which stretches nearly six thousand yards of lush greenery. The Greens fee is JA $750 for nine or eighteen holes, and caddies can be hired for JA $500 for eighteen holes.

Guts River
Get away from it all by diving into a 20 foot swimming hole in this secluded river, whose waters are said to be medicinal. Enjoy snorkeling with colorful fish and aqua-life in the sparkling turquoise river or take a quiet stroll among the unspoiled scenery of the beach where river meets the sea. However, visit on a weekend or holiday to witness this quiet spot come alive with the locals who perform pulsing reggae music and feast on delicious fish all through the night.

Milk River Bath
Suffer from arthritis, bursitis, tendonitis, gout, sciatic nerve, lumbago, or nervous conditions? Milk River Bath is the place for you. The highest radioactive mineral bath in the world, Milk River Baths claims to provide temporary relief for all of the preceding conditions. Swim and Snorkel
Treasure Beach, the aptly named, serene group of public beaches and small coves, provides crystal-blue, bath temperature water just perfect for swimming, body, surfing, and snorkeling. To enjoy the tropical fish and colorful corals, make sure to have your own equipment handy if your accommodations don’t supply them.

YS Waterfalls
This waterfall, consisting of eight cascades falling 120 feet, is one of the most beautiful and well-kept attractions in Jamaica. The Browne family, proud owners for over 110 years, has recently won an environmental award for their efforts. Tour the fields of Guango, Cotton, Quickstick and Cedar trees where you’re likely to see thoroughbred racehorses speeding through the fields and Jamaican Red Poll cattle grazing. When the ride ends, daring guests will splurge onto the Tarzan-style rope swing; while others will enjoy the calm pools for swimming and the quiet picnic areas.

Lovers Leap
The legend of Lovers Leap tells the romantic tale of two tragic slaves in love, who to prevent separation from each other, jumped together from a 1700' cliff.
