Topless protester dragged out of crowd outside court after Jian Ghomeshi found not guilty

A topless woman was dragged from a crowd of protesters on Thursday outside the downtown Toronto courthouse where a judge acquitted Jian Ghomeshi of sexual assault and choking charges.

Crown attorney Michael Callaghan was outside the court, commenting to reporters about the verdict when a topless protester stormed into the wall of microphones, shouting “Ghomeshi guilty,” according to footage of the incident.
Police officers pulled the woman away from the crowd, and she ended up on the ground. A swarm of media surrounded the woman as police struggled to handcuff her and pull her up from the cold, wet ground. They managed to lead her up the stairs and into the courthouse.

Yup, he is a scum bucket.

Full text: Jian Ghomeshi’s Facebook post on why he believes CBC fired him

About two years ago I started seeing a woman in her late 20s. Our relationship was affectionate, casual and passionate. We saw each other on and off over the period of a year and began

We talked about using safe words and regularly checked in with each other about our comfort levels. She encouraged our role-play and often was the initiator. We joked about our relations being like a mild form of Fifty Shades of Grey or a story from Lynn Coady’s Giller-Prize winning book last year. I don’t wish to get into any more detail because it is truly not anyone’s business what two consenting adults do. I have never discussed my private life before. Sexual preferences are a human right.
Despite a strong connection between us it became clear to me that our on-and-off dating was unlikely to grow into a larger relationship and I ended things in the beginning of this year.

Okay onoo going tell me dis noh serve im right. LOLOL

She was upset by this and sent me messages indicating her disappointment that I would not commit to more, and her anger that I was seeing others.

After this, in the early spring there began a campaign of harassment, vengeance and demonization against me that would lead to months of anxiety.
It came to light that a woman had begun anonymously reaching out to people that I had dated (via Facebook) to tell them she had been a victim of abusive relations with me. In other words, someone was reframing what had been an ongoing consensual relationship as something nefarious. I learned – through one of my friends who got in contact with this person – that someone had rifled through my phone on one occasion and taken down the names of any woman I had seemed to have been dating in recent years. This person had begun methodically contacting them to try to build a story against me. Increasingly, female friends and ex-girlfriends of mine told me about these attempts to smear me.

Should the 3 complainants be charged with perjury?

Additional deceptions was included in the judgement.

This journalist noh easy. "She behaved like a lovesick stalker.....she stalked him for a year and tried to get him to ROOKS her."

When he wouldn't she behaved like a jilted woman.

Lucy DeCoutere announces resignation from Trailer Park Boys after Mike Smith's arrest

Trailer Park Boys actress Lucy DeCoutere tweeted Saturday she was resigning from the show, only hours after her colleagues released a statement in support of actor Mike Smith, accused of domestic battery in Hollywood."If I find out that somebody is abusive, I cut them out of my life. It's very easy," DeCoutere tweeted earlier Saturday afternoon.
In another tweet, which has since been deleted, she said her resignation was connected to Smith's arrest.
Smith, 43, plays the character Bubbles on the popular television show that made its debut on Netflix with Season 8.

    Ghomeshi Walks again.

No blame. No admission. No plea.
And, really, no explanation for any of it.
Worked out just dandy for Jian Ghomeshi, who left court on Wednesday with no strings attached, but for a one-year peace bond and $500 surety.
Ghomeshi is finished with legal proceedings. After some 14 months of racy scandal, screaming front-page headlines, intimate details of sexual proclivities forensically examined in the public domain, a life turned inside out and exposed for all its creepy tendencies, Ghomeshi can resume his existence far from prying eyes — or regurgitate the whole thing via a book deal, starring Jian Ghomeshi. He always craved the spotlight. Now he can put his own psycho-sexual spin on it, too.

He won. And in a world of celebrity second acts, he might just be able to reinvent himself.
