    France (Fraunts) late September

Just some photos I took. After a week in Paris, I explored the coast of Normandie then headed east to the Champagne-Ardennes region.

Sheltered harbor in Granville. At low tide, the boats are stuck.

Nice pictures peas. One of the art studios here do 1 week each summer close to where you were (Fourges), painting landscapes.

For some reason I thought the bulk of your time was going to be spent in the central region (Lyon etc)

    looking forward to the rest

As in, take a dip in the water?

No. It did not present itself.

I thought I would explore the Loire region too, but it did not present itself

The last two weeks were totally unplanned. The only thing I pre-arranged was a rental car from Avis. I traveled with a friend who is a good travel pal and she wanted to see Normandie's World War II beaches. I didn't really want to but I was glad that I did. Because we were now north-west of Paris, we didn't want to drive all the way to the Loire and Lyon regions to see wine country. Instead, we opted for Champagne vineyards.

    Thanks, more pics to come.
