In May-June 2004 we had a drive to raise money for a donation to the Jamaica Heart Foundation in the name of Marcia “Ackeegirl” Davidson, Jamaicans.com forum administrator and writer, who passed away last year after a long battle with heart disease.. We had a goal of $1000, which we beat by $196. A check was presented to the Heart Foundation of Jamaica at Jamaicans.com Jamaica 2004 Bashment in Ocho Rios on July 19th, 2004. A special thank you to the many of you who helped us the Jamaica Heart Foundation project. We received a special certificate of appreciation from the the Jamaica Heart Foundation. We have vowed to do an annual donation so we will do it again next year. Below are pictures at the presentation.
