During July thru September 2008 we had our annual drive to raise money for a donation to the Jamaica Heart Foundation in the name of Marcia “Ackeegirl” Davidson, Jamaicans.com forum administrator and writer, who passed away in 2003 after a long battle with heart disease. We raised US $600 (US). A check was presented to the Heart Foundation of Jamaica by Jamaicans.com moderator Richard Facey on November 5th, 2008. A special thank you to the many of you who helped us with the Jamaica Heart Foundation project. We received a special certificate of appreciation from the the Jamaica Heart Foundation. We have vowed to do an annual donation so we will do it again in  2009.
