 Our Mission
Open Arms for Jamaica ’s Future main purpose, is to provide financial and material assistance to a child in need in Jamaica . This assistance will include providing text books for school, uniforms and other essential school supplies as needed, and also to serve as a mentor to the child.

Our Vision
To follow through on the quest that was started many years ago, to ultimately eliminate illiteracy in Jamaica by

  • Increasing attendance across all schools
  • Fight to keep our young boys in school
  • Accomplish a partnership between all societies and the less fortunate
  • Facilitating mentoring programs for all

Overview
Open Arms for Jamaica ’s Future is a non profit organization dedicated to the children of Jamaica . Open Arms for Jamaica ’s Future came about from the willingness of a group of women, who had attachments to Jamaica and knew first hand the present need to help children of school age. Our goal is to raise enough funds to help one child from each Parish per school year. Children stay home from school for lack of transport, inability to pay tuition, lunch money, and other school supplies. The things most of us take for granted are maximum necessities for many.

introducing CHILD SUPPORT JAMAICA, the the company is design to assist single parent-Mothers in Jamaica collecting maintenance money ordered by the Court. this include several other service that is implemented in aid of the Children. Writing to you I need your guidance, CSJ was designed to be a business, but there is our first Board meeting and the majority of the board member suggested that it is best we go as a none profit organization. CSJ has been my Brain Child since 2004. In the debt collection field i am experience for over (27) years. the question I would like to ask. (a) as a none profit organization, can your future depend on it? (b) how do you register, would it be having share holder as a normal Company, (C) can it be also register as a Limited liability Company ? (d) would there be a cost to the registering authority ? with all these Question ask, I am determine to help these Children in Jamaica. kindly assist me so I would find a way forward. visit our website at www.childspportjamaica.com

Hello Joshua,

I amnot sure if you are in the US or Jamaica, but a non-profit cannot ber an LLC. A non-profit has to be registered as such. I suggest going to your state website for more specific information.
