The Organisation
Build Jamaica Foundation is a non- profit non- political organisation committed to restoring a sense of hope, purpose and dignity through the efforts of concerned Jamaicans at home and abroad.

The Build Jamaica Foundation presents an opportunity for every Jamaican, local and overseas, to be proactively involved in community development. Launched in September 1998 under the patronage of Governor General, Sir Howard Cooke, BJF relies heavily on the concept of civic investment and participation.

The Plan
The focus of Build Jamaica Foundation is to arrest the declining social and economic conditions in Jamaica, by carefully planning and implementing a voluntarily funded development programme.

The Strategy
By committing to contribute One Dollar per day for one, two or three years, you can become a part of this positive movement for the revitalisation of the Jamaican economy and society.

You may also lend your support by sharing your time and ideas as we seek to rekindle the true Jamaican spirit.

Board of Directors & Advisors

Rev. Dr. Al Miller, Founder and Chairman of BJF is Pastor of the Fellowship Tabernacle, President of the Whole Life Ministries and Chaplain of the Jamaica National Football Team (the Reggae Boyz)

The other Directors of the Board bring a wealth of experience in areas such as Finance, Law, Human Resource, Education, Technology and Communications.

The Board of Directors is also supported by a Board of Advisors.

Volunteer Base
BJF utilises a tiered volunteer structure which includes team and chief team leaders who serve various committees for the Foundation.
