The Passion Bernard Transplant Foundation would like to dispense generaltransplant information and encourage you to become an organ donor. Kindly take the time to fill out an Organ Donor Card at your area DMV. Discuss this subject with your family and put it in writing.

On March 13th, 2003, Our seven-year-old daughter Passion Luray Bernard had to undergo an emergency liver transplant At Jackson Memorial Hospital (Miami, Florida). Due to this experience we have come to recognize that there is a daily need for Pediatric transplants. This need is even more pronounced for children in the Caribbean when funds are not available for the procedures. These children would have to wait years to accumulate funds to pay for these medical procedures. Many children die waiting for their families to accumulate enough money.
Recognizing the urgency of this dilemma and the necessity to assist the situation, we have decided to start a transplant foundation for children of the Caribbean and Caribbean parentage that live in the United States.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Passion Bernard Transplant (PBT) Foundation will assist Caribbean children or children of Caribbean parentage who are in need of organ
transplants.
GOAL
The Passion Bernard Transplant (PBT) will make a difference in a child's life "One Transplant at a Time"!

Caribbean businesses, private individuals, government grants, local and foreign organizations etc.
