Jamaica's National Pledge
Published Dec 1, 1995Before God and All mankind.
I pledge the love and loyalty of my heart
The wisdom and courage of my mind,
The strength and vigour of my body
in the service of my fellow citizens.
I promise to stand up for justice,
Brotherhood and Peace, to work diligently and creatively,
To think generously and honestly, so that,
Jamaica may, under God, increase in beauty, fellowship
and prosperity, and play her part in advancing the welfare
of the whole human race.

I love my country!!!
Jamaicans & Portlanders are looking out for their coastal communities
Though these words were not directly taught, they've been some how instilled subliminally. I believe they came from inheritance, something special was passed down. When I take a look at my parents & grandparents, I could see where the strengths evolved but there are other qualities I can't fathom it's origins. I love my country and I believe these words are so forgotten in our youths.
the color of the sky is the same as it everyday, nonexistent
I just love my country...... Am so proud to stand and say I'm Jamaican.....bless
Those words give me cold bumps - the most profound words ever to be uttered. remember,"before God and all mankind." I love my country so much it hurts. It hurts me to see what is going on here after we all at some point placed our right hand upon our left breast and proceeded to utter those profound words "before God and all mankind!"
awesome even though im not from jamaica!!!!!
