Island in the Parks, sponsored by Air Jamaica
at Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers, Georgia. For the
13th year, the Atlanta Caribbean Folk Festival Committee hosts
the Atlanta Caribbean Folk Festival on Memorial Day Weekend. It
is held in the heart of Atlanta and is sponsored by Coca Cola,
Air Jamaica, Heineken, Guinness, Chrysler and many more companies.
The entertainment is non-stop, with bands and artists coming from
all around the world.
Below is a partial list of Jamaican/Caribbean
events that happen annually in and around Atlanta:
- February is Reggae Superfest
- April is Caribbean Culture Festival
- May is Caribbean Carnival (www.peachcarnival.com)
- June is Reggae Sunsplash and Kingfest International
- July is Festival of Cultures and One Love
