Atlanta is a mixture of gleaming skyscrapers,
historic communities and pulsing night life. Memorial Drive runs
from downtown Atlanta to Stone Mountain Park, where you can find
good Jamaican restaurants, markets and businesses.
Atlanta is home to a wonderful cultural arts
scene. There are a number of parks in the City of Atlanta, Centennial
Park, Olympic Park, Woodruff Park and Piedmont Park. Concerts
under the stars are held at Chastain Park Amphitheater in north
Atlanta, with the Best Buy/Lakewood Amphitheater in south Atlanta.
Smaller venues downtown are The Roxy and The Fox Theater. One
of the most favorite spots for Jamaican entertainment is The Royal
Peacock on Auburn Avenue, in downtown Atlanta (www.theroyalpeacock.com
