| Where Jamaicans
Live in Atlanta
By Elizabeth a/k/a JAstargirl

Metropolitan Atlanta is made up of many distinct,
yet cohesive counties, cities and neighborhoods, which are split
into four regions: Northwest, Northeast, Northside and Metro South
Regions. 14 metro counties encompass over 50 municipalities. With
a population of approx. 425,200 people, you may find a good many
Caribbean people living in Decatur, Stone Mountain, Lithonia,
Riverdale, Fayetteville, Alpharetta, College Park, Roswell and
portions of Cobb and Gwinnett Counties.
Many Jamaican restaurants can be found in any
of the four regions. Peachtree Street may be the most famous street
in Atlanta. In fact, there are over fifty streets with “Peachtree”
in their names.
