JOB TITLE: AC Technicians –  (REGIONAL OFFICE) – 2 Positions

LOCATION:  Southern Regional Health Authority, Mandeville

DESCRIPTION: Responsible for carrying out general servicing, maintenance and repairs to the Split AC Units at the various health facilities within the region; Maintains AC Units in functional condition by conducting inspections; replacing parts and components including fleet vehicles; Contains cost by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options; Maintains AC Units appearance by cleaning vents, washing coils and painting; Maintains AC records by recording service and repairs

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of five (5) subjects at CXC/GCE O’ Level inclusive of English Language and Mathematics; A minimum of five (5) years’ working experience in the field of Air Conditioning; Certification from a recognized institution in Advanced Air Conditioning; Possess a valid Driver’s License; Excellent Knowledge of AC Units and specifications of a variety of AC manufacturers; In depth knowledge of the new Inverter AC units; Good planning skills; Ability to perform repairs on AC compressors, replacing fan motors, charging AC systems; Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; Owns and operates a reliable vehicle; Possesses the necessary equipment for the servicing, repairs and maintenance of Split AC Units
