Listen the History of Jamaican Music: The Wailers
Provided by Reggaeplus Radio

The Wailers...
When people think of the Wailers, they think of Bob Marley. But, the Wailers were decidedly more than Bob alone. There was a steady flow of backing musicians from the outset, beginning with the Skatalites who backed the group from it's virtual inception in the early 60's...right up to Bob's so called 'solo' days with the Barrett brothers, Carlton and Family Man and the rest. Then there were the singers...Beverly, Cherry, Vision, Junior, the I 3's [Rita, Judy, and Marcia] PLUS Bob's fellow Super Stars, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer. For over 1/2 of their 'history', together Bunny, Peter and Bob made beautiful music together. Listen Now
