Help kids get back to school!
Saturday August 11th will be the third year that All People's Day, Inc., a nonprofit organization www.allpeoplesday.org, is running the "Back to School, Brown Bag Special Clothing Drive" for infant to college age children.
It will take place at St. Paul's Episcopal Church 188 S. Swinton Ave, Delray Beach FL 33444, from 9 am to 1 pm.
Families struggling in this tough economy will fill large shopping bags full of clothes and school supplies for a donation of only $5 for each bag. Last year over 100 bags were filled and the families raved about the high quality of the goods. This year we hope to serve even more families.
Proceeds go toward the free to the public All People's Day Diversity Festival held in Delray Beach in March, 2013. Families attending get a fantastic buy for their kids and feel good about contributing to this free community event that celebrates everyone's diversity. If you're a volunteer or able to donate clothing, school supplies or funds you too will get that special feeling of knowing you are helping others.
