The Ethiopian Lion Family Community Outcry and Youth Rally against Poverty, Drugs and Violence in Jamaica, South Florida and the Caribbean - September 30, 2007, Fort Lauderdale

The Ethiopian Lion Family Community Youth Movement; is a 501c3 non profit organization established since 1998, our main goals are to make a difference in the lives of inner city youths everywhere and to stir response to duty's call while creating change through awareness of the need in South Florida, Jamaica and the Caribbean.

On Sunday, September 30, 2007, on the beautiful grounds of Rev. Samuel Delevoe Park, 2520 N.W. 6th Street, Sistrunk Blvd. from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.The Ethiopian Lion Family Community Youth Movement, Youthman Promotions, Broward County Park, Laparkan Shipping and a host of Sponsors presents a continuation of The M.I.S.S.I.O.N Outcry against Poverty, Drugs and Violence in Jamaica, South Florida and the Caribbean.

This Outcry and Youth Rally will help to benefit underprivileged schoolchildren in Jamaica. Ethiopian Lion Family has partnered with others to provide the necessary tools for children and families struggling through hardships.. We are expecting a wide turnout from our Jamaican, Caribbean and South Florida’s rich diverse ethnic Communities. Wear your colours, bring your flags and come support. We welcome any sponsorships or monetary donations, School supplies desktop notebooks; papers, pencils, pens, etc will be accepted at Entry. “Bring your heart and do your part,” says Lion, Director.

Performing alongside Ethiopian Lion Family straight out of Jamaica, is Youthman Promotions founder Lincoln Sugar Minott, Fire Pashon, Isha Blenda, Little Hero, Mona, Clement Irie and more artists from South Florida. All Backed by Nubian Players and Code Red Band. Quality Audio & P A systems will be provided by Ras Woody, music juggling by the Infamous Incrowd World Movement, Experience Sound, Rainbow Disco and Special guest DJ Johnny Reggae. .

The event will be hosted by Princess K and Ras Roger of Mystic 1400 AM, Derrick G of Lynks FM 104.7 and Ital K formerly of “Englishman Radio” WLRN. This Outcry event gathering involves faithful Ras Tafari, reggae music lovers and diverse people with consciousness held together by a love for “Family, Harmony and Unity” that can only generate through music and the love of Christ. . Roots Reggae & Culture vibes will ignite your heart, mind, and souls to stay alive.

“Love and Unity is the foundation for life”, Come out early and enjoy, Live interactive entertainment for the entire family. FREE fun activities for the children ice cream, cotton candy, Bounce Houses, games prizes and giveaways. NyahBinghi youths will be drumming and chanting. Live Drama by Countryside Theatre depicting “Life in the Islands and its positive influence on our global society. The World’s greatest Jerk Chicken and Ital dishes will be on sale, cold natural juices available all day.

This marks the beginning of a Revolution, an extraordinary family of Soul-Jah's, and volunteers who make this Movement and Reunion of family and new friends an unprecedented coming together as we celebrate Restoration. This Reunification aims to feed the multitude by spreading the universal message of H.I.M. Our God and King’s Love and teachings to all humanity regardless of race, religion, gender or creed.
