Internet Caribbean Gospel Launched - First Of Its kind On iTunes

Published Jan 19, 2008

Newark, New Jersey, January 18,2008 - En Sound Entertainment, one the largest independent Gospel music information in the US has recently launched the all new Caribbean Gospel Surf - www.ensound.org/wcgs.asp, a 24 hour Internet radio dedicated to Caribbean Gospel music. Launched only six weeks ago, Caribbean Gospel Surf is the only Caribbean Gospel music listing on iTunes Radio. It's listenership has been growing rapidly and has already exceeded the listenership of its sister station, En Sound Radio! www.ensoundentertainment.com (also on iTunes) by 2-1.

En Sound's owner/CEO, Delroy Souden, a Jamaican born and raised in St. Thomas (Lyssons & Golden Grove). In addition to his very popular website, Delroy is an Internet radio personality on En Sound Radio which attracts thousands of listeners monthly. Over the years, he has interviewed many artists including Former American Idol contestant, George Huff, Karen Clark Sheard, Donald Lawrence, Vickie Winans, Ann Nesby, Babbie Mason, Lexi, Andrae Crouch, Dorothy Norwood, Marcus Cole, Kenny Lattimore & Chante Moore and others. Delroy's reason for singing goes way beyond the fact that he can sing. His reason for singing is due to the fact that when he was going through the roughest times of his life, God and music were always the two components that brought him true comfort, peace and happiness, and he knows that with his music, others who are going through will be able to find comfort, peace hope and happiness in his songs.

Delroy wanted to represent Caribbean Gospel music in a big way after years of catering to the Urban and Traditional gospel music in the US where has been living for the last 18 years. He admits that he never quite embraced the genre because of the lack of quality productions that was being featured on many radio stations throughout the US, but in recent years that has changed with credits going to such artists as Papa San, Stitchie, Wayne Wonder, Sherwin Gardner, Chevelle Franklin, DJ Nicholas and others.

If you are an artists or know of an artist whose style is Caribbean gospel, please send us your mp3 files today and we'll add your music to our station. Advertising opportunities are also available for artists and business to get added exposure of their products and services.

We are currently accepting CD submissions for the 3rd Annual En Sound Music Awards. More information can be found at: www.ensound.net. In Just two short years, The En Sound Music Awards has become is one of the most recognizable indie gospel music award shows in America, and is the brainchild of Delroy (www.delroysouden.com),

En Sound Entertainment is celebrating 8 years in 2008; a year of new beginning for the company and for Delroy.
