Jamaica Wins Big At 19th Annual World Travel Awards Gala

Jamaica’s Director of Tourism John Lynch (right) accepts the Caribbean’s Leading Destination award from Graham E. Cooke, President & Founder, WTA during the 2012 World Travel Awards Caribbean & The Americas Gala held at Beaches Turks and Caicos on September 14, 2012. Jamaica was declared the leading Caribbean destination for the seventh consecutive year. The Tourism Director, who was among a packed delegation of VIPs, senior tourism figures and international media, also accepted the coveted Caribbean’s Leading Tourist Board award, which the Jamaica Tourist Board won for the sixth consecutive year at the prestigious travel industry Oscars.
