Jamaica's 20th Annual Reggae Sumfest Ends On A High Note

TREY SONGZ PAYS TRIBUTE TO JAMAICA 50 WITH BOB MARLEY RENDITION – American R&B artist Trey Songz made his Reggae Sumfest debut, delivering a noteworthy rendition of Bob Marley’s “Turn Your Lights Down Low”, in honor of Jamaica’s 50th Anniversary of Independence. The suave vocalist, who is currently promoting his fifth, upcoming studio album Chapter V, captivated thousands of adoring fans with hit melodies, including “I Need a Girl” and “Can't Help But Wait” at this year’s Jamaica Tourist Board-sponsored Reggae Sumfest.
R. KELLY CAPTIVATES FANS AT JAMAICA’S TOP REGGAE FESTIVAL – Grammy Award-winning artist R. Kelly, who recently released his 11th studio album Write Me Back, performed at the 20th annual Jamaica Reggae Sumfest. Kelly performed hit singles, including “I Believe I Can Fly” during his set. This marked his second appearance at Reggae Sumfest – he first performed at the festival in 1996. Jamaica’s Reggae Sumfest, sponsored by the Jamaica Tourist Board, took place at Catherine Hall in Montego Bay, Jamaica from July 15 - 21.
