Published Oct 24, 2007

New Jersey - Karib Feva is a unique Caribbean concert package that with combine the two hottest musical genres from the region in an explosive concert set for downtown Newark on Sunday November 11th. Trinidad's extraordinarily dynamic soca prince Machel Montano will partner with Jamaica's legendary balladeer Sanchez, and they will be joined by younger hit machines Assassin and Mr. Vegas. And longtime reggae favorite Barrington Levy is also on the lineup, making this Levy's first New Jersey appearance in five years.

A number of blazing New Jersey rising stars will also perform on this cutting edge event and they include Patrice Roberts, Zan, Ellyss, Southside, Alize, Don Calico and Ragga & Mic G.

The theme for the concert is "The Best of Both Worlds" and it takes place at the Robert Treat Hotel, 50 Park Place in downtown Newark. Doors open at 5:00 PM and show time is 8:00 PM. For New Jersey and New York tri-state residents, Karib Feva comes on the heels of sold out performances at the New Jersey Reggae Fest, also in Newark, where hundreds of fans had to be turned away because of the huge demand to see the sizzling lineup that the New Jersey Reggae Fest offered.

"Karib Feva came about because I wanted to create an indoor event for the Fall that is truly Caribbean in scope. I therefore wanted to partner the hottest elements of both soca and reggae in a sizzling dutch pot, and we are anticipating some truly remarkable performances" event promoter G City commented.

Karib Feva is sponsored by Roadbloack Radio 90.1 FM and CCB International. Roadblock Radio had also sponsored New Jersey Reggae Fest and CCB International has a long history of successfully promoting soca events in the tri-state region.

Ticket prices are $59.99 but the promoters are offering an early bird special for $49.99 until October 27th. Tickets will cost more at the gate. Numerous ticket outlets are positioned throughout the New Jersey and the New York tri-state region, For more information on tickets, call (973) 573-8154 or (973) 416-5306 or visit roadblock radio.com
