HAPPY MOTHERS’ DAY! Hon. Herman G. LaMont (second left), Consul General of Jamaica to New York and Patron of the Comets Club International Charity Dinner, gets a Kodak moment with the three blushingly beautiful mothers (l-r) Megan Morris, Sharon Richards, Sharline Duncan Merritt, who were honored at the May 11, awards gala at The Z Party Hall, Jamaica, Queens. The mothers, all with strong connections to the comets organization and holding their gift bags from Trans-Continental Express Shippers, were singled out for raising successful daughters and exemplifying the true spirit of motherhood. The 2013 Community Development Partnership (CODPAR) Award was presented to Andrea Owen Boyd, a financial consultant with AXA Advisors, LLC, and Patrick Jolly, president of Tower Isles Frozen Foods, Ltd.
