Growing up Spanishtown Jamaica, Anthony 'Red Rose' Cameron started his career with the Sir Duncan sound system, eventually making his way to the immortal King Tubby's where he recorded the dancehall mega-hit, "Tempo" in 1985. Bunny Lee, a regular at Tubby's, took Red Rose under his wing and from that point on the artist's career took off.
