The role of the Team Captain is to:
- Recruit potential walkers for the JANC Walkathon.
- Inform potential walkers about the purpose of the Walkathon.
- Communicate team and individual walker sponsorship goals.
- Register walkers and supply them with the Registration and Sponsorship forms.
- Function as an information conduit between the Walkathon Committee and the walkers in his/her team.
- Encourage each walker to meet his/her sponsorship goal.
- Follow-up with walkers to ensure that sponsorship proceeds are submitted one week before the walkathon.
