The Digicel Cricket  Clinics – featuring Digicel-sponsored West Indies cricketers, Chris Gayle and Jerome Taylor – arrived in Jamaica today, as part of their six country tour of the Caribbean.

Led by Head Coach, Kenny Benjamin, twenty four talented young cricketers from cricket clubs across Jamaica will be mentored and coached on perfecting their game over the next two days at Sabina Park.

Digicel-sponsored West Indies cricketer, Jerome Taylor, said of his involvement in the Digicel Cricket Clinics: “The Digicel Cricket Clinics are very important to Chris and I as they are an excellent opportunity for us to give back to cricket in Jamaica and share our experience with our up and coming young cricketers. I’m really looking forward to working with these young cricketers over the next two days and I hope they learn some valuable skills during these clinics.”

The Digicel Cricket Clinics are fully endorsed by the West Indies Cricket Board and are coordinated in conjunction with the national cricket association in each country. After Jamaica, the Clinics will move to Cayman, followed by Barbados, Dominica and the Turks & Caicos Islands and will feature Head Coach, Keith Arthurton, as well as Digicel-sponsored West Indies cricketers, Ramnaresh Sarwan and Denesh Ramdin.
