Air Jamaica’s senior management was on hand at Miramar Regional Park to join hundreds of South Florida residents in the celebration of the airline’s 40th anniversary serving Jamaica and other islands in the Caribbean. The day-long event featured performances from a number of Caribbean artists including Richie Stephens, Pluto & Company, Michigan, Mebah, Junior Soul, Rhythm Fource Band and many more.

South Florida is one of Air Jamaica’s most important gateways, and the airline regularly interacts with the Caribbean population in South Florida through community outreach and events. Air Jamaica currently offers residents of South Florida five daily nonstop flights between Fort Lauderdale and Jamaica.
