New Talk Show Launched On WAVS 1170AM Features 3 Female Hosts!
Published Jan 28, 2010A new talk show was launched on Thursday, January 14, 2010 on WAVS 1170 AM from 12 Noon to 1 PM. The program is hosted by Donnette Russell Love, criminal & immigration attorney, Natasha Mayne a corporate and family attorney and veteran broadcaster Pat Montague known for her unique and interesting brand of programs.
The 3 hosts bring unique and divergent backgrounds and interests to the program as well as similarities in being Caribbean women , 2 single, one married, close to each other in age, each with a child seven or younger. The program will focus on a range of issues including relationships, politics, the economy and more with special guests to contribute divergent perspectives on each show's topic.
The inaugural program featured a mini radiothon to benefit the earthquake victims in Haiti and guest was Sidney Henry from Food for the Poor. The program on January 21 saw a lively discussion among the 3 hosts as well as call in guests on the subject of how long is too long for an engagement?
On Thursday, January 28th the topic will explore the issue of childhood obesity. Other thought provoking subjects will include:
the older woman/younger man relationship
when women are the main breadwinner in a family
women and politics
would the world be better with more female politicians
what is a good way to break off a relationship
