Dozens of Jamaican-New Yorkers in the media, business and community circle, packed into the Negril Village Restaurant in New York to celebrate the second year anniversary of the popular Caribbean Lifestyle TV (CLM TV).

In a city where good Caribbean TV programs are few, CLM TV has stepped up to the plate, bringing Caribbean New Yorkers weekly profiles and discussions of issues germane to the Caribbean Diaspora and its nationals.

If there was any doubt of the success of the CIN show, Tuesday night proved the reach, as many fans and supporters showed up to cheer the five-member team on.

Emcee Clive Williams welcomed guests to the event before introducing the CLM TV team – host, Irwine Clare, producers Anthony Turner, Clement `Ras Clem` Hume and Andrea Bullens and editor Basil Wellington.

VIP`s bringing greetings included former City Councilwoman Una Clarke; Jazz musician Monty Alexander and former Barack Obama campaign worker, Gregory Smith.

The CLM TV team reflected on their humble beginnings as rookie TV producers to their growth today.

CLM TV also presented its inaugural awards, honoring attorney Donald Vernon as `CLM TV Caribbean American Personality of the Year' and CaribWorldNews founder Felicia Persaud as `CLM TV Media Person of the Year.`

The dynamic Kevin Batchelor and The Batchelor Party band - featuring renown saxaphonist Cedric 'IM' Brooks offered some great vibrations while The Who`s Who of the Jamaican community in New York boisterously celebrated. Among those marking the CLM TV milestone were dancehall singer Barbee; Irie Jam`s Bobby Clarke and Louis Grant; Irie Jamboree`s Steven `Yello` Williams; Yard Man Style CEO, Hugh Johnson; media personalities: Bobby DeSouza, Ken Williams; Shaun Walsh and H. Diggy of Whatz Up TV; Eion `Dreadless Ras` of Zync TV; Cathy Kleinhans of Jamaicans.com; Roland Hyde of Stylemasters TV; Deon Brown of the Gleaner NA; Pat Baccas, 1420 AM in Atlanta, Chris Williams of Where It'z at Magazine, Ian Forest of WBAI radio and Conroy Allyson WVIP.

CLM TV airs on CIN TV, channel 73 (WNYC-TV) in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island and Queens and is currently available on Verizon's FIOS and channel 26 in the NY tri-state area.

CIN TV was started 15 years ago and is owned by Jamaican Stephen Hill.
