The seventh annual Jamaican Jerk Festival is scheduled for Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Markham Park. 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Patrons will be treated to a smorgasbord of activities and entertainment from the festival opens at 10:00 am until the last note sounds at 10:00 pm.
For starters, expectations are high as the Festival's quite popular and much talked about Jerk Cook-off, a fierce competition between top chefs from the Caribbean, will be exciting this year. Two Cultural stages will offer entertainment as well as Main Stage Jammin with local and international performers. Other attractions include Cricket, Netball, Domino as well as a Kidz Fun Zone and the Party Pavillion. Did we mention lots and lots of Jerk Chicken, Port, Fish, Lobster and even Jerk Ice Cream.
