To continue the 50th year Anniversary, Jamaica Awareness Association of California (JAAC) and the Jamaica Diaspora Organization team up in November for a 3 day National Conference and Banquet. The Jamaica Diaspora National Conference runs from November 9 - 11, and the JAAC Annual Banquet is scheduled for November 10, 2012.  Both events coincide for knock down dragout weekend and will generate some 600 patrons, many from across the globe.  long time JAAC friend  and Emcee, Ms Fae Ellington will make her return to Los Angeles alongside renowned singer Ernie Smith who felt his appearance at the event last year was incomplete and wants to indelibly stamp his musical signature on the Los Angeles community with this encore visit.

In addition, both organizations are working together to deliver 1000 blood pressure cuffs to the hospitals and clinics in Jamaica.  Several persons have already pledged to work on projects geared at fullfilling this plan by the end October or by year's end.  Feel free to call up your nearest hospitals, distributors, manucaturers, or friends who can assist in provideing this worthwhile gift to Jamaica.
