Legendary Dancehall Deejay Ninja Man in NY for the First Time in 15 Years
The 'Original Gold Tooth, Front Tooth, Gun Pon Teet' Don Gorgon Ninja Man graced the LinkUp Studios earlier today, on his first trip to New York, since the infamous deejay received clearance to travel to the U.S. for the first time in 15 years.
In his exclusive interviews, aired simultaneously on LinkUp Radio 93.5FM WVIP and PLUSH TV, and then on LinkUp Radio 1690AM WMLB in Atlanta, The Don Gorgan shared his controversial views about the current state of Dancehall, the new generation of Dancehall artists, and his new direction in perspective, music, and life.
"I have not turned over a new page, 'cause if the rest of the page the in the book dirty, then nothing has changed. I have opened a new book. But I am still Ninja same way, nobody can't test the Ninja--you done know that," states Ninja Man at LinkUp Studios in his first interview since touching down in the U.S.
"He is still the one and only Ninja Man," declares LinkUp Media CEO David "Squeeze" Annakie. "Who else but LinkUp could give you Ninja, live and in living color, in New York, for the first time in over a decade! LinkUp always gives the people what they want. For years the Tri-state has been screaming for Ninja--LinkUp delivered."
The big question on the lips of callers and viewers is 'When is Ninja Man performing in the States?' It was made perfectly clear that he is strictly doing press at the moment.
LinkUp Radio 93.5FM WVIP in New York, and LinkUp Radio 1690FM WMLB in Atlanta will air the interview again on Saturday, April 21st between 6pm and midnight.
