The biggest indoor reggae festival in Europe!
The fourth edition of One Love Sound Fest will take place in Wroclaw on the 17th of November 2007. In the space of four years the Festival has developed into the biggest indoor festival of reggae music in Europe. During the last edition, there were more than ten thousand people having fun in Hala Ludowa! This year, the Organisers have prepared two huge stages: the main stage in Hala Ludowa and a soundsystem in the nearby Wytwornia Filmow Fabularnych. But that's not all. Among many stars, there is Anthony B. coming straight from Jamaica, invited for the upcoming exclusive concert. He will play only this once in Europe! So far, we have never hosted a reggae star of such caliber! Anthony B has produced many CDs welcomed world-wide and joint recordings with such stars as: Sizzla, Luciano, Buju Banton, Wyclef Jean and Snoop Dogg! The other artists performing in Wroclaw also demonstrate different musical profile of the One Love Sound Fest which has occurred in previous years. For the first time in Poland as many as 11 foreign artists have been invited to perform at this year's festival edition. These artists will present the latest, the most ambitious and the most exciting projects from all over the world. As a result, this year's Festival audience can expect a real fest of reggae, roots, dub, ragga, hip-hop, dancehall, world music sounds and digital experiences. The concerts are not the only One Love attraction. The Festival will be accompanied by numerous other events with the inclusion of foreign guests. The interactive workshops for soundsystems will be lead by World Clash Champion, Sentinel Sound from Germany. In the festival cinema, apart from the display of documentaries and feature films about reggae, it will also be possible to meet the director of the documentary, Peter Zahradka from the Czech Republic. At the festival, the exhibition of Clement Tardif's photography will be displayed. This French artist is one of the best European photographers specialising in reggae. On the 17th of November every good music enthusiast should definitely come to Wroclaw for one of the most important music events in Poland!

Anthony B (Jamaica)
So far we have not seen a star of such caliber! Anthony B with his 8-person band will come to Wroclaw straight from Jamaica, as an exclusive invite from One Love 2007 to play his only European concert! Anthony B has produced many CDs welcomed world-wide and joint recordings with such stars as: Sizzla, Luciano, Buju Banton, Wyclef Jean and Snoop Dogg! In his compositions Anthony B easily combines classical reggae vibration with dancehall energy. Each performance from this vocalist is a unique experience, which compliments his incredible scenic charisma and combined merit of his fantastic 8-person band.
Jah Shaka (Jamaica/ United Kingdom)
The king of dub and guru of British modern Roots. He is considered to be a god-father of the sound system stage and one of the most important figures in reggae history. He has been performing since the beginning of the 70s. He is the winner of numerous soundclashes and the owner of hundreds of unique dubplates. His performances can be described as a very mystique experience. Finally, Polish fans will be able to see his long awaited dance behind the console and will convince themselves why Jah Shaka is called King Zulu Warrior!
Zoe & The Okada Super Sound (Liberia/Germany)
She comes from Liberia, however Zoe considers Jamaica her spiritual country as it is here she creates her music working with such stars as Ky-Mani Marley, Anthony B or Alborosie. Zoe's CDs were a big success and hits such as Rock Steady or Could it be You gave her international fame. She will come to Poland for the first time. She will be promoting her latest album called Golden Rebellion, which will be released directly before One Love 2007!
Iration Steppas (United Kingdom)
This is no doubt one of the most important dub soundsystem in the world. They originated from Leeds at the beginning of the 90s inspired by the work of the great Jah Shaka. However, people soon started talking about them and fans developed all over the world and performances could have been seen even in Japan and Australia. Thanks to their productions they gained the appreciation from both reggae and modern electronics lovers. In their music you can hear roots, dub, drum & bass, jungle and even dubstep. Finally, the extraordinaire of dub music aims their heavy duty cannons straight into the heart and ears of the Polish public!
Sista Women In Reggae (GB)
An amazing women-only roots music supergroup! The band was created by joining two legendary powers of Akabu and AbbaKush band. The artists have many recordings with Horace Andy, Benjamin Zepaniahu and Massive Attack! Sista's concerts are famous for the magic roots atmosphere. The proof is in an incredible CD live recorded during Montreux Jazz Festival. We are really pleased after such high quality performances at such festivals as: Summer Jam or Rototom Sunsplash, the queens of British reggae will come to One Love 2007!
Sentinel Sound (Germany)
Sentinel Sound is the first “World Champion Soundsystem” in history to visit Poland and is the most titulating in Europe. It has proved victorious over Blackkat or Downbeat the Ruler. They are also famous because they were the first ones to literally “crash” the Jamaican Turbo Force in front of their own public in Kingston in Jamaica! Ladies and Gentleman, Sentinel Sound exclusively at One Love 2007 – this is a performance not be to missed and will be one worth telling our grandchildren about!
Irie Revoltes (Germany)
This group has achieved the most spectacular success in European reggae during past few years. In a short period of time the band transformed from a group of friends into one of the most known performing bands in Europe. No wonder, because Irie Revoltes is an insane vocal trio supported by seven fantastic musicians that can light the fire on any stage. The band shows in many fantastic ways the multicultural idea of our festival. Formed in Germany, they sing in French, English and German, combining reggae, hip hop, raggamuffin and even ska. Let the crazy rebels take you away!
Pow Pow Movement (Germany)
One of the most titulated dancehall soundsystem in Europe. They were the first team from Europe to take place in a world-wide soundclash in New York. In short succession, they have gained the crown for the best system in Europe! Apart from the excellent selection there is a significant merit of the charismatic Jamaican MC Devon. Apart from Poland they were playing world-wide: from Jamaica to Africa, through Canada and USA. Also their production activity brought them international fame. On riddim of their authorship the biggest stars of world reggae record: Anthony B, Beenie Man, Sizzla, Luciano or Bounty Killer. After the legendary performances with Beenie Man, during this year Summer Jam, a huge Pow Pow Movement is coming to conquer Poland!
Mantis (Zimbabwe)
It is of late the biggest discovery of German reggae stage. Under the pseudonym Mantis, Ian George Hilman - multiinstrumentalist from Zimbabwe - is hiding. This broadly talented musician is endowed with an incredible timbre. On his first CD "Love take control", released in 2006 he played on most of the instruments and even more importantly he sang fantastically. No doubt he will be one of the biggest discoveries of One Love Sound Fest 2007!
The Bug feat. MC Warrior Queen & MC Ricky Ranking (United Kingdom/Jamaica)
Kevin Martin, the real name of The Bug, is known to all his fans of underground electronics by such projects as Techno Animal, avant-jazz God or hip-hop Ice. In 2003, The Bug conquered the mass public with an excellent CD "Pressure", which was produced for the label of Aphex Twin himself! On his album, he combined murky raw dancehall bits with some crazy singing of the leaders of the British raggamuffin stage. Between many others, Rootsman, Daddy Freddy, Cutty Ranks, Warrior Queen or Tikiman appeared on the list of his colleagues. Now The Bug is working on an album for the label well known to all the lovers of ambitious tones: great Ninja Tune! He will come to Wroclaw with some totally new material with MC Warrior Queen from Jamaica and MC Ricky Rankin. If you have ever wondered what will be played on Jamaica in the XXII century, you finally have the chance to find out!
Tomer Yosef (Israel)
Every day he is a frontman, MC and a drummer of a great New York formation Balkan Beat Box. Apart from the activity in BBB, Tomer performs his own project, which constitutes a fusion between Jamaican and Jewish music. It is this cultural mix that Tomer Yosef will bring for the first time to Poland. Surely, we can expect some Hebrew vocal based on roots tones. However what is most important, Tomer is a real, ticking bomb which always explodes with some amazing energy. It is difficult to describe what is happening on the stage during his performances but definitely it stay far away from a traditional image of a reggae music concert. He is indicated to be the most impulsive artist of this year's edition of One Love!
Natural Dread Killaz (Poland)
One of the most popular reggae formation in Poland. They warm up the hearts of listeners by an explosive mixture of reggae, dancehall, ragga and hip-hop. The best asset of NDK and impulsive vocalists, supported by a precise concert machine Riddim Bandits. It was no accident they were the only ones to play during all editions of One Love Sound Fest!
Masala Soundsystem (Poland)
Masala Soundsystem is a combination of an oriental selection of recordings and the impulsive MC. Their music travels from Ukraine through out Algeria to Punjab and Hollywood, visiting Israel, Hungary, Brazil, Romania and all the other places where good dance music is being created.
Singledread Sound (Poland)
This band is extremely liked all over Poland with Malik (selekta), MadMike (voc), Ola Monola (voc) and Mr. Czapla (selekta). They specialise in the classical Jamaican vibration, ragga, reggae, dancehall and dub but they are not foreign to current hiphop tones. They have a great number of concerts to their name and a seven-inch-single with King Kalabash (Martinique/France), who has performed during the previous One Love edition.
