United For Jamaica meeting on Saturday August 18 @ 3pm @ WRFG radio 1083 Austin Avenue .
UFJ will be meeting this Saturday August 18 at 3pm to discuss such topics as:
- UFJ fashion show debriefing
- UFJ Business Forum on August 25
- Ball or Bust Football fundraiser
- Jerk Festival
- Upcoming Caribbean week
- Computers to Jamaica
- Volunteering for Jamaican programs
- Christmas treats with basic Schools in Jamaica
- Other topics of issue

1. August 19 - To participate in our presentation at De Parangside event "All men who say dey can cook" (more info below)
2. August 25 - To participate in the UFJ business forum to help with the execution of the event, which will be at Copelands (scroll down for more information)
3. On Sept 2 for the Jerk festival (information below). We will need people to man the UFJ booth, also help with the execution of the event, from helping activities to continue, to helping with children games etc.
4. December - we are calling on all who are interested in going to Jamaica and being involved with projects that help those who are disadvantaged, this year we will be doing projects that deal with basic schools in economically challenged areas and those affected by AIDS
