Help us show Indianapolis our culture!
The West Indian Association of Indiana will have a cultural booth at the 2008 International Festival. The association is in need of Caribbean artifacts and crafts to display at the event. Help ensure that as many islands as possible are represented by contributing an item to the exhibit. Any items provided for the exhibit will be returned to its owner following the conclusion of the event (Nov. 23). Please respond if you have an item to display.
WIAI is still in need of volunteers to assist with the exhibit. All volunteers will receive FREE admission to the event for the day they are registered to help. If you would like to work the exhibit during any of the shifts listed below, please respond to wiai.news@gmail.com with your name, hours you would like to volunteer and a phone number where you can be reached.

Event Details
Indy's 2008 International Festival celebrates the unique ethnic and cultural heritage of central Indiana. The International Festival is an experience the whole family can enjoy. Highlights include: culture booths where visitors can connect with their own ethnic heritage; authentic foods; artisans demonstrating unique cultural crafts; a Naturalization Ceremony; an international marketplace; and continuous ethnic music and dance presented by local and national performing groups.

Times:
Nov. 21 - 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Nov. 22 - 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Nov. 23 - Noon to 6 p.m.
Cost: $7 Advance; $9 Door; $6 Children (6-12)
