A Fe We Culture Third Annual Coral State Charity Ball, October 18, 2009, New York

A Fe We Culture Inc., is a not-for-profit tax exempt cultural and arts organization that has evolved for more than 17 years, incorporating diverse influences and positive transformation with noticeable successes. A Fe We Culture Inc., will hold its Third Annual Gala Coral State Charity Ball, at Villa Barone Manor, 737 Throggs Neck Expressway, Bronx, NY, 10465, Sunday, October 18, 2009, starting at 5:00 P.M. The organization will recognize outstanding community leaders in the tri-state area and world famed musicians.  The “Stomp for Unity” 2010 program will be announced, including their plans for celebrating 50 years of reggae music.
 
A Fe We Culture Inc., will shine its spotlight on the renowned Jamaican record distributor, 17th & North Parade VP's Records / Randy's Record's and its co-founder, Mrs. Pat Chin.  The company is celebrating its 50th anniversary in the reggae music industry. The Honorable Geneive Brown Metzger, Jamaica’s Consul General to New York, and Vincent HoSang, CEO of Royal Caribbean Bakeries will be making a special presentation to Mrs. Chin.
 
The distinguished honorees include: NY State Assemblyman Carl Heastie (Bronx); renowned drummers, Louie Bauzo and Eddie Montalvo; noted jazz saxophonist, Carmen LaBoy; famed Caribbean & African American fashion designers:   Courtney Washington; Christopher Hunte; Jennifer McFarland; and Stephanie KirkPatrick; Air Jamaica Senior Vice President, William “Will” Rogers; community service organization of Brooklyn New York, Sesame Flyers and The Bronx Christopher Columbus High School Cheerleaders & Step and Dance Teams.
 
An array of world-renowned bands and singers will perform at the gala, including the current reggae hit maker, KABBALIST and folklorist, Janice Hart  - who will perform a special tribute to the late Jamaican bandleader and producer, Byron Lee, the founder of the world-famed  band, Byron Lee & the Dragonaires and Dynamic Recording Studios in Jamaica.
 
The gala, which promises to reflect the cultural expression that is the tapestry of New York City and the Caribbean Diaspora, will be streamed live on-line, courtesy of HandsonMediaServices.com. The cultural entertainment, music and dancing, added with exotic Caribbean culinary experience makes for a spectacular evening.
 
Proceeds from the charity ball will benefit the Marley Hill Project and the organization’s programs.
