WHAT: The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) is pleased to announce that the destination’s brand new commercials featuring Usain Bolt will be featured in the New York market during the highly-viewed Super Bowl Pre-Game Show on Feb. 7. The new commercial, “Stop” which takes Bolt through a day of long-distance training, will air between 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.   

Three commercials in total were created by the JTB’s advertising agency of record Draftfcb. The second spot, “Speed”, hones in on the fact that Bolt is “the world’s fastest tour guide” as he sprints from one end of the island to the other at an ever-increasing pace. The third commercial, entitled “Pose”, features local Jamaicans emulating Bolt’s iconic victory pose. The new television commercials are scheduled to debut nationally on Feb. 8. They will air on CNN, MSNBC, ESPN, National Geographic Channel, BET and various other stations.
