Jamaican Diaspora Southern U.S. Partners With First Fridays To Celebrate The Holiday Spirit Friday, December 1, 2006 - Pembroke Pines, Florida-Main


The Jamaican Diaspora Southern United States will celebrate the holiday spirit in collaboration with First Fridays, the popular monthly social event, on Friday, December 1, 2006, 9pm to 4am, at the Rain Tree Golf Resort, 1600 S. Hiatus Road in Pembroke Pines. All Jamaican community, alumni, business, charitable, sports, social, collegiate, and cultural organizations and their friends are welcome to attend. Part admission proceeds and donations will be earmarked towards the capacity development of the Jamaican Diaspora Southern U.S.

“Music and social activities are an important part of Jamaican culture. This is a great opportunity for us to celebrate our accomplishments and to build relationships for our continued engagement among each other and for our varied interests,” stated Marlon Hill, Advisory Board member and representative for the Jamaican Diaspora Southern United States.

First Fridays will feature the best in R&B, soca, reggae, and other hits and oldies. Ladies will be admitted FREE before 11p.m.
