Blakka Ellis' Final Florida Performance To Benefit Jamaican Children's Heart Fund @ 2nd Annual Caribbean Comedy Showcase Aug 30, 2009, Florida

Published Aug 5, 2009

Princess PM Productions Inc. presents the 2nd Annual Caribbean Comedy Showcase at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts on August 30, 2009. The event will feature comedians Tony "Paleface" Hendricks, Joan Andrea Hutchinson, Ity & Fancy Cat, Marc Trinidad, a final Florida performance by Blakka Ellis,  2008 Comedy Buss winner Rohan Gunter and music by C Roy the Entertainer.

Blakka Ellis announced recently that he will be retiring from performing as a stand up comedian and will be concentrating his efforts on other aspects of the performing arts.

The event will benefit the November mission for Jamaican Children's Heart Fund (JCHF)  an organization that takes medical teams to Jamaica to perform life saving heart surgeries for children who otherwise would not have access to these surgeries.

President of Princess PM Productions Inc. Pat Montague said she was happy to donate to the Jamaican Children's Heart Fund after finding out about the work they were doing for children in Jamaica. "When we decided to do the Caribbean Comedy Showcase last year, our plan was start our own foundation to help the medical & educational needs of children in Jamaica. When we learned of the work of the JCHF we thought why reinvent the wheel, why not just support the efforts of this vital organization who were already doing such a tremendous job. For her part Gwendolyn Grant president of JCHF said  "Princess PM Productions has been a tremendous blessing in providing funding for life saving surgery  for the Spring 2009 mission" and she was looking forward to the contribution from the Caribbean Comedy Showcase to save more lives in the November mission and beyond.

The Caribbean Comedy Showcase will start at 7pm and tickets prices range from $25-$35.

Jamaican Children's Heart Fund is a 501-c rated organization that performs lifesaving heart surgeries for Jamaican Children.

Princess PM Productions is a marketing & promotions company that offers media buying and marketing targeting the Caribbean market in south Florida and hosts special events.
