The WATA/Nuttall Memorial Hospital Pre-Mother’s Day 5K Road Race and Health Fair under the theme ‘Run for your mother, Race for your life’ will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 starting at 7:00 am. All proceeds from the 5K Road Race will be used to refurbish and equip the hospital’s six bedroom ward - the Gunter Wing, and the eight-bed Intensive Care Unit. The 5K race starts and finishes on Caledonia Avenue at the main Hospital entrance. The 5K race starts and finishes on Caledonia Avenue at the main Hospital entrance. The new looped course promises to be fast and enjoyable to runners and walkers of all fitness levels.
The Health Fair gets underway on the hospital grounds after the race where participants and patrons will benefit from free medical check-ups and have access to other health-related services.

The deadline for registration is Friday, May 3 and the entry fee is J$1,000 per person.

Interested persons can register online via www.runningeventsja.com and pay using a credit or debit card. Another option is to submit a completed Entry Form with cash or cheque payment to the Nuttall Memorial Hospital (Business Centre), 6 Caledonia Avenue, Kingston 5. Cheques are to be made payable to Nuttall Memorial Hospital.
