Location: Ministry of Education, Kingston

Description: Strategic management of the Ministry; Providing policy advice and ensuring that policies, program and projects are implemented to achieve the overall mandate of the Ministry; Leading the transformation of the Education Sector; Managing the human, financial and physical resources of the Ministry; Directing the strategic planning, policy, implementation and evaluation programs of the Ministry

Qualifications: Postgraduate training in education, management or a related field or any other equivalent combination of qualification/training; A minimum of seven (7) years experience in a Senior Executive capacity in the field of education; Strong leadership skills; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Strategic thinking;    Good interpersonal skills; Knowledge of the local education sector, Government of Jamaica's operational policies and procedures and global trends in education.
